SENIOR PRIMARY (GRADES 4 - 7)

Our new state of the art Senior Primary opened its doors in January 2008. It boasts capacity for three classes per Grade from Grade 4 to Grade 7. A unique "school street" greets visitors and represents the heart of the school. Off the street is our media and computer centre as well as our world class Science Laboratory. This central hive of activity, boasts interactive whiteboards, a fully networked computer laboratory, a research area as well a wireless "hotspot" through the street and related areas.

Our Art and Design Technology rooms flow into one another to maintain the link between design and artistic expression. The fully equipped Art and Drama rooms flow onto our open-air amphitheatre where concerts and musicals are performed.

Academically, Umhlanga College has specialist teachers in all major subjects so children are assured to have the best quality teaching. We benchmark our academic progress with top South African schools as well as writing international benchmark exams from Grade 4 to Grade 7. Our excellent facilities coupled with advances in technology ensure that our pupils get the very best education on offer.
