JUNIOR PRIMARY (GRADES R - 3)The Junior Primary School believes in involving children in academic, sporting and cultural activities in order that they are educated in a holistic way.
Education is outcome based with a thematic approach to enhance this. Specialist subjects taught are:

- Zulu and Physical Education
Literacy is taught using the eclectic method and is supported by a balanced programme of exciting fiction and non-fiction treat readers taken home on a daily basis.
Numeracy is taught both practically and written with much opportunity offered for investigation of different methods to solve mathematical problems.
Clubs are offered to expand the child's knowledge in a variety of activities e.g. Chess, Design & Technology, Cookery, Arts and Crafts, Golf.
Excursions to places of interest e.g. Spirit of Adventure, Ushaka Marine World, Suela are organized termly. Plays and educational workshops based on the Life Skills Programme are presented at school by professional companies.
